Licensed Child/Teen Therapist
Atlanta CBT, a private, out-of-network cognitive behavioral specialty practice, is seeking a highly skilled licensed therapist or psychologist to join our dynamic team. This is a 1099 contract position.
We have a specific need for a licensed therapist or psychologist who works with children and or teens and parents who could see patients in the office during after school hours and or on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to individuals.
- Offer therapy in either a hybrid format (in-person and telehealth) or exclusively in-person at our Inman Park office.
- Use evidence-based modalities to address issues such as anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, insomnia, and trauma.
Qualifications:
- Fully licensed as a psychologist or master’s level therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in Georgia.
- Expertise in CBT and demonstrated ability to conduct evidence-based therapy to help children and or teens with anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive and related disorders/problems (e.g., body focused repetitive behaviors, body dysmorphia, PANS/PANDAS, tics, avoidant/restrictive food intake).
- Evidence of extensive training in relevant evidence-based therapies (exposure-based therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy, parent training for children/teens with anxiety).
- Evidence of on-going professional development and involvement in relevant professional groups consistent with staying current in new developments and advancement in the field.
- Exceptional generalist clinical skills with experience in child and teen psychology.
- Commitment to culturally-informed and inclusive clinical work.
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and telehealth technology.
- Ongoing professional development and engagement in psychological science and practice.
- High ethical standards and excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to manage fluctuating caseloads as the practice grows.
It is preferable, but not required, that candidates have experience working in an outpatient private practice setting.

Selection Process:

- Submit an application.
- Complete a telephone screening with the owner of Atlanta CBT.
- Attend an interview with the owner and meet with Atlanta CBT colleagues.
- Complete a comprehensive reference, background, and credential check.
Required Education:
- Masters or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
- PhD or PsyD is preferred
Required License or Certification:
- Full and unrestricted license as a therapist or psychologist in the state of Georgia
- Relevant certifications demonstrating training in evidence of extensive training in relevant evidence-based therapies (exposure-based therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy, parent training for children/teens with anxiety).
